Two recent interviews for NEMO Kennislink
I was recently interviewed for the Dutch science website NEMO Kennislink on two separate occasions about my research.
The first interview was written up in an interesting article by Mathilde Jansen about avoidance speech/taboo language, which concerns elaborate linguistic practices in Aboriginal Australia that illustrate the intricate ways in which language establishes social relations.
A great article about inner speech, written by Annemijn Groeneveld addresses addresses my more recent research interest into the different ways in which people experience language, including our ability to reflect on and 'hear' unspoken language.
Many thanks to both journalists for their interest. The two articles (in Dutch) can be read at NEMO Kennislink.
